How to Choose a Crystal Pet Collar: Fit, Details & Care

1. Choose by neck measurement, not just S, M or L
Size labels are not a universal measurement. A medium in one design may fit differently from a medium in another. Use a soft measuring tape around the base of your pet’s neck where the collar will sit, keeping the tape comfortable rather than pulling it tight. Then compare that measurement with the adjustable inner circumference listed for the exact collar.
Total collar length is a different measurement: it describes the strap laid out straight, including sections that overlap when fastened. It should not be used as the pet’s neck size.
After fastening the collar, check that you can comfortably fit two fingers underneath it and that the collar cannot slip over the head. Recheck the fit regularly. 2. Check which decorative details can change
A crystal collar’s appearance does not tell you how its decorations attach. In the EVARILO collection, gemstone ornaments mounted on a collar use magnetic bases and can be replaced with compatible ornaments. The bases are recessed into the collar; the raised decorative piece sits over the base.
Designs without mounted gemstone ornaments have fixed collar decorations. Their appearance should not be taken as evidence of a removable magnetic fitting. Hanging bead strands are replaceable where a design includes one. A01 has magnetic ornaments but no hanging strand.

4. Match the fastening and use to your cat or dog
A magnetic ornament or hanging strand is a decorative component, not a leash anchor. Attach a leash only to the collar’s intended leash ring and check the product’s use instructions. Inspect the strap, buckle, ring and fittings before use, and stop using a piece if an attachment is loose or damaged.
For cats, pay particular attention to the fastening. A magnetic decorative ornament is not a breakaway collar closure. Do not assume a buckle collar releases automatically if it catches on something. 5. Care for the strap and crystal details gently
